Since 2018 Mekkano has supplied retailers, pharmacies and salons throughout the country with brands that hold up.

From import to shelf

Mekkano takes on a brand abroad and gets it onto a shelf in Iceland. That means import, customs, labelling, stock, distribution, and support for the sale once the product is in place.

Import: We import cosmetics from selected European manufacturers and handle customs clearance, certification and labelling under Icelandic and EU rules.
Stock and distribution: We hold the products here and distribute to retailers, pharmacies and salons across the country, with ordering and delivery on a steady rhythm.
Range planning: We pick brands that have something to offer the Icelandic market, and help put together a range that suits each shop.
Sales support: We back the sale with product training, staff sessions and in-store material, so the product moves once it is on the shelf.

We do not sell to the public. Our brands are found through our customers: shops and professionals across Iceland.

Retailers: Cosmetics shops and supermarkets, in the capital area and around the country alike.
Pharmacies: Pharmacies running a cosmetics section that needs brands which hold up.
Beauty salons: Salons using the products in treatments and selling them on to their own clients.
Tanning salons: Salons using MineTan equipment and products in spray tan treatments.
